Mjahid M. Zebari

DAAD grant holder and PhD student 2017-2021

Research interests

I am interested in the structural development of the fold-thrust belts and its expression in the evolved landscape. My work is based on field observations, remote sensing techniques, landscape modeling and geochronology. Currently, I am working on determining long-term slip rates from tectonic geomorphology, structural modeling and OSL dating of the Zagros Fold-Thrust Belt in Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
